Join our Land Development &

- Municipal Engineering (LDME) team in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, as an Intermediate Municipal Engineer / Project Manager. In this role, you'll help shape resilient communities across Atlantic Canada by leading municipal infrastructure and land development projects from concept through delivery. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, build trusted client relationships, and contribute to projects that create lasting value for the communities we serve.

This role offers flexibility for professionals interested in pursuing a technical design career path, a project management career path, or a blend of both.

Your Impact

- Lead the planning, design, and delivery of municipal infrastructure and land development projects, with opportunities to develop technical design expertise, project management responsibilities, or a combination of both.
- Contribute to successful project delivery by applying strengths in technical leadership, project management, or integrated project delivery, with accountability for scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client service.
- Prepare and review engineering designs, technical reports, specifications, and contract documents.
- Coordinate with clients, municipalities, regulators, contractors, and internal multidisciplinary teams.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff while fostering technical excellence and skilled growth.
- Support business development activities through proposal preparation, client engagement, and relationship building.
- Identify project risks and opportunities, implementing effective solutions to support project success.
- Exercise independent engineering judgment to resolve complex technical and project delivery challenges.
- Contribute to the growth of the Atlantic Land Development and Municipal Engineering team by sharing knowledge and advancing best practices.

The Skills That Set You Apart





- Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from a recognized university.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive engineering experience.
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or eligibility for registration in Atlantic Canada.
- Experience delivering municipal infrastructure, transportation and/or land development engineering projects.
- Demonstrated project management experience, including budget, schedule, and client management responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of municipal servicing, transportation, grading, stormwater, and utility design principles.
- Experience preparing technical reports, engineering drawings, and contract documentation.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with clients, municipalities, and project stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills with a commitment to quality and safety.

- YT: $84,500 – $113,500

MB &

- ON: $77,100 – $107,700

NB, NL, NS, PE &

- QC: $76,300 – $102,800
