Intermediate Project Manager to support procurement planning and execution projects using SAP Ariba Source-to-Contract (Req 557)

Our public sector client is seeking a Intermediate Project Manager to support procurement planning and execution projects using SAP Ariba Source-to-Contract

Part time role (1-3 hours/day during core business hours). Candidates must be located in Calgary. Hybrid work schedule of in-office when required.

Must Haves

- 2+ years of experience as a Project Manager or Project Coordinator with a focus on procurement activities aligned with PMI' PMBOK processes
- 2+ years working with SAP Ariba Source-to-Contract
- Experience in Procurement planning , sequencing, and execution monitoring for operational or project initiatives
- Experience supporting technology projects in medium to large environments

Nice to Have
- Previous work experience in the public sector or large organizations
- Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams including IT, clients, contractors, and vendors
- Project resource planning and participation in project team resourcing

Responsibilities
- Develop procurement plans supporting urgent operational and project needs
- Coordinate procurement sequencing and capacity alignment activities
- Monitor procurement throughput and execution schedules
- Identify procurement risks, delays, and barriers impacting delivery
- Escalate issues across business units, supply management, and enabling services
- Support accelerated procurement cycles and time-sensitive contracting activities




- Ensure procurement decisions are documented and compliant
