We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman/Woman Electrician to join our energetic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various industrial and commercial settings. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical work complies with safety standards and technical specifications, contributing to the smooth operation of our facilities.

Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to accurately execute installation and repair tasks.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems including low voltage wiring, power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete electrical work on construction sites or existing facilities.
- Conduct inspections of electrical components during renovation projects to ensure compliance with safety codes and standards.
- Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
used in industrial automation processes.
- Diagnose electrical issues using schematics and technical manuals, then implement effective solutions promptly.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other tradespeople to coordinate installation schedules and project timelines.
- Must hold a valid Journeyman Electrician certificate/license
Skills
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams related to electrical systems.
- Extensive experience as an industrial electrician with a solid understanding of complex electrical circuits.
- Strong knowledge of low voltage wiring systems and control panels.
- Skilled in using hand tools (e.g., wire strippers, pliers) and power tools safely for electrical installations.
- Construction experience with a focus on electrical renovations and upgrades in commercial or industrial environments.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation tasks.
- Basic handyman skills for troubleshooting minor repairs beyond electrical work.
Pay: $43.00-$55.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
