Maximize your skills as an Electrician on the afternoon shift at UBC. This role focuses on installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various electrical systems across campus. As a Trades 3 Electrician in the Electrical Trades department, you will perform skilled work under general supervision.
You’ll be engaged in tasks involving preventive maintenance and repairs, ensuring compliance with regulatory codes. This position requires robust client relations skills and a proactive approach in troubleshooting electrical issues while working collaboratively with various team members. Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems and equipment
Perform precision installations and calibration of electrical devices
Respond to emergency calls outside of regular working hours
Maintain accurate documentation of work performed
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations Requirements:
Red Seal Electrician or Industrial Electrician certification
Valid class 5 BC driver’s license
Minimum five years of relevant experience
Solid verbal and written communication skills
