Staffmax is assisting our client in hiring dependable and hardworking General Construction Labourers for a 3-month contract. This hands-on role is ideal for individuals who are physically fit, safety-focused, and looking to gain valuable experience on active construction sites—both residential and commercial.

- Contract Length: 3 Months
- Location: Calgary, AB

Key Responsibilities

- Load and unload building materials and distribute them around the job site
- Assist skilled tradespeople with tools, equipment, and general site duties
- Operate hand tools and small construction equipment as required
- Help with site setup, demolition,



and post-project cleanup
- Maintain a tidy, safe, and organized work workplace
- Adhere to all on-site health and safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE
- Report safety hazards, site concerns, or equipment malfunctions to supervisors

Qualifications

- Previous experience in construction or general labour is an asset
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, working outdoors, and performing repetitive tasks
- CSA-approved steel-toe boots are required
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Able to follow instructions and maintain a safety-first mindset
