We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join Wattpad’s accounting team. You will be a key contributor in our accounts receivable cycle. As a member of the accounting team, you will utilize your A+ relationship building skills to partner with our vendors and employees to ensure compliance to our policies & procedures and an overall positive & smooth interaction.

Billing (sales orders & invoicing) administration in accordance with accurate interpretation of customer contracts and effectively communicating with our various lines of business to gather required information AR payment application and collections follow-up with customers, including troubleshooting and escalation as needed Conduct AR payment variance analysis and perform reconciliations to identify outstanding balances, unapplied cash, short payments, and payment trends Ensure proper recognition of revenue and cost of sales according to accounting standards and company policies Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations S. and Korea HQ consolidation and accounting teams to support group reporting, intercompany processes,



and policy alignment Depositing cheques to the bank and sorting mail Assisting with audit requests May assist with AP related tasks, such as coding of invoices, expense reports, credit card reports, etc. 1-3 years of relevant experience with accounting/bookkeeping and/or in the AR/AP cycle for a small/mid-sized company with multiple currencies and legal entities ~ Bachelor degree in accounting, finance, business or a related field ~ Advanced Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets experience ~ Impeccable customer service, relationship building and problem solving skills ~ Flexible and adaptable to execute ever changing job duties and take initiative on continuous improvement ~ Experience with bookkeeping and/or in the AR/AP cycle for a small/mid-sized company with multiple currencies and legal entities CPA, or workings towards CPA Fluency in Korean Strong interest in leveraging AI tools, with a passion for process improvement and operational efficiency $What We Offer (For Full time Only) Top industry health benefits, including vision and dental Your own health/wellness account to spend each year Generous vacation and Maternity/Parental leave top-up program Corporate discount for gym memberships for you and your family Wattpad is conducting all interviews in a distributed manner using applicable third party software where needed and using visual interface tools such as Google Meet and Zoom.
