Junior Dental Technician

Boutique Dental Laboratory | Oakville, ON

We are a boutique dental laboratory looking for a Junior Dental Technician to join our team.

This position is ideal for a recent dental technology graduate or a technician with approximately 1–2 years of laboratory experience who is looking to build hands-on skills in a quality-focused, small-team environment.

We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, reliable, eager to learn, and interested in developing their skills in night guards, crown fitting, and model work.

Key Responsibilities

- Fabricate and finish night guards and other dental appliances
- Assist with crown fitting, finishing, and adjustments
- Perform model work, including pouring, trimming, mounting, and related procedures
- Assist with general crown & bridge laboratory procedures
- Inspect cases for accuracy, quality, and proper fit
- Follow lab prescriptions and case instructions carefully
- Maintain an organized and clean workstation
- Assist with general day-to-day laboratory operations as needed
- Perform occasional local case pick-up and drop-off for dental offices

Qualifications
- Recent graduate of a Dental Technology / Dental Laboratory Technology program, or approximately 1–2 years of dental laboratory experience
- Basic understanding of dental terminology, anatomy, and occlusion
- Experience with model work,



night guards, or crown & bridge is an asset
- Robust attention to detail and good hand skills
- Reliable, organized, and willing to learn
- Able to work independently as well as as part of a small team
- Valuable communication and time-management skills
- Valid driver's licence and ability to perform occasional local deliveries/pick-ups
- Must currently be eligible to work in Canada
- Local candidates only; must be able to reliably commute to the laboratory
