This position requires expertise in supply chain management, contract negotiation, and inventory control. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proactive approach to managing supplier relationships and be keen on improving purchasing practices. Key Responsibilities:

- Purchase goods, materials, and services meeting quality targets
- Oversee inventory levels and set open-to-buy plans
- Communicate supply issues impacting business operations
- Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers
- Analyze and prepare purchasing performance reports

Requirements:

- 1-2 years' purchasing experience in a manufacturing setting
- Familiarity with ERP and MRP systems, preferably Syspro
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Relevant business degree preferred; CPIM or CIPS beneficial
