Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
· Load and unload parts into and out of industrial washer.
· Produce required quality and productivity levels (efficiency & utilization).
· Report all production accurately.
· Handle and record all inventory accurately.
· Complete required Total Productive Maintenance procedures daily.
· Contribute to continuous improvement on a daily basis.
· Ability to work as a part of a 24 hour operation that rotates shifts on a 4 week schedule.
· Maintain cleanliness and order of work center.
· Adheres to all Safety and Health standards.
· Duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Required:
· High School.
· Post-secondary or alternate course work related to manufacturing an asset.
· Experience with understanding and interpretation of blueprints and production documents an asset.
Skills and Attributes Required:
· Must pass Essential Skills Employment Test
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Proven ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic and challenging environment by effectively organizing, prioritizing, and executing.
· Ability to work as part of a team.
· Capable of repeatedly lifting heavy cylinders (assisted).
· Mechanically inclined and ability to use power tools.
· Understand, remember, and carry out detailed instructions
· Maintain attention and concentration for extended periods
· Perform activities within a schedule
· Work involves pressure to meet deadlines
· Juggle tasks and prioritize work
· Make simple decisions or solve straightforward problems
· Work in a team or with others
This is a full-time position.
Job Type: Full time
Pay: From $19.10 per hour
