In this permanent full-time role, you will directly support youth experiencing significant mental health challenges at the Garron Centre. Your expertise in evidence-based individual and group therapies will be utilized to conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and facilitate successful discharges. Collaboration with nursing, occupational therapy, and other health professionals is vital.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide individual and group therapies for youth
• Conduct clinical assessments and treatment planning
• Collaborate within an interprofessional team
• Engage families in care strategies
• Facilitate aftercare and transition support
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in relevant field
• Minimum two years clinical experience in child mental health
• Registration with a skilled body
• Knowledge of DSM V criteria
• Competence in crisis intervention methods
