Lead the charge in tree care as an Onsite Tree Trimmer and Arborist. This full-time role focuses on community tree services, including trimming, planting, and safety measures in parks and roadways.
This position requires climbing, trimming, and operating specialized equipment in line with modern arboricultural standards. Responsibilities also involve removing hazardous stumps and cleaning up storm damage. You’ll contribute to community aesthetics by installing decorative lights for events.
Key Responsibilities:
• Climb and trim trees using advanced techniques
• Operate aerial lifts and wood chippers safely
• Remove hazardous trees while restoring the site afterwards
• Clean up debris following adverse weather events
• assist in festive event decorations throughout the year
Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 12 and additional forestry education
• Certification as an Arborist from a recognized body
• Valid Class DZ Driver’s Licence and safety training certifications
• Robust knowledge of OHSA regulations
• Flexibility to work various shifts as necessary
