Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Landscaper/Labourer to join our dynamic outdoor maintenance team. In this role, you will be instrumental in creating and maintaining beautiful, functional landscapes that enhance outdoor spaces. Your hands-on approach and enthusiasm will contribute to delivering high-quality landscaping projects, ensuring client satisfaction and the overall aesthetic appeal of various properties.

Responsibilities

- Assist with the installation, planting, and upkeep of gardens, lawns, and other landscape features using hand tools and power tools.
- Operate heavy machinery such as excavators for site preparation and landscaping tasks.
- Maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering and health of plants and turf.
- Perform routine landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, weeding, and fertilizing to keep outdoor areas pristine.
- Support construction activities related to landscape projects, including setting up structures and installing features like fences or pathways.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and tools; perform basic mechanical maintenance to ensure safety and functionality.




- Follow safety procedures diligently while working with machinery, chemicals, or in potentially hazardous environments.

Skills

- Experience operating excavators or similar heavy machinery is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, gardening techniques, and horticulture principles.
- Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices including mowing, pruning, planting, and fertilizing.
- Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and maintaining hand tools and power tools used in landscaping tasks.
- Construction experience related to outdoor projects is a plus.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for manual labor tasks.
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors.
