Champion educational programming as the Head of IKBLC Programs and Services at UBC Library. This role is focused on community collaboration and the development of user-centered resources. In the position of Head of IKBLC Programs and Services, you will work closely with the Executive Director and various stakeholders to create impactful educational initiatives. Your leadership will guide a diverse team in delivering exceptional services and fostering an inclusive environment within the Irving K.
Barber Learning
Centre. With an emphasis on community engagement, you'll contribute to programs that support diverse user groups. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic planning for educational programs
- Ensure effective student and community outreach
- Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary team
- Collaborate on policy and procedure development
- Conduct assessments to enhance educational offerings
Requirements:
- Accredited Master's degree in Library Science
- At least six years of experience in program development
- Proven ability in team leadership and collaboration
- Experience with user engagement initiatives
- Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion principles
