Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Residential Leasing Specialist to join our dynamic property management team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for prospective tenants and current residents, guiding them through the leasing process with enthusiasm and professionalism. Your expertise in property management systems, customer service, and sales will help foster positive relationships and ensure smooth leasing operations.

Duties

- Manage the full leasing cycle, including showing properties, explaining lease terms, and processing applications efficiently.
- Utilize property management software such as Yardi Breeze to input data, track leads, and maintain accurate records of tenant interactions.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries via phone, email, or in person with professionalism and enthusiasm.
- Conduct data entry and filing of lease agreements, tenant information, and maintenance requests to ensure organized records.
- Negotiate lease terms with prospective tenants to reach mutually beneficial agreements that align with company policies.
- Collaborate with property management teams to coordinate move-ins, move-outs, and lease renewals seamlessly.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of property features, amenities, and local market trends to effectively promote available units.

Requirements





- Proven experience in office administration, sales, or customer service roles within property management or related fields.
- Familiarity with Yardi or similar property management software is highly preferred.
- Strong administrative skills including data entry, filing, and managing customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
- Familiarity with the Ontario Residential Tenancies Act.
- Excellent phone etiquette with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in all interactions.
- Demonstrated negotiation skills to facilitate lease agreements that satisfy both tenants and management.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
