Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Licensed Sheetmetal Technician to join our dynamic construction and restoration team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining sheetmetal systems across various commercial and residential projects. Your expertise will ensure that all work meets safety standards, building codes, and client specifications.

Duties

- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute sheetmetal installations.
- Fabricate, assemble, and install sheetmetal components using hand tools such as snips, hammers, and measuring devices.
- Perform precise cutting, bending, and shaping of sheetmetal materials to fit project specifications.
- Collaborate with carpenters, plumbers, electricians, and other trades to coordinate installation processes seamlessly.
- Conduct inspections of installed systems to ensure proper fit, finish, and functionality; perform adjustments as needed.
- Utilize welding techniques where necessary to join sheetmetal parts securely.




- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Requirements

- Valid license as a Sheetmetal Technician or equivalent certification demonstrating professional qualification.
- Proven experience working with hand tools, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Construction experience with a focus on sheetmetal installation or related trades such as carpentry or drywall finishing.
- Robust knowledge of construction materials including drywall, caulking compounds, flooring materials, tile laying, and plumbing basics.
- Skilled in welding techniques and familiar with restoration processes involving sheetmetal components.
- Ability to read schematics accurately and follow detailed instructions precisely.
- Experience with construction painting and flooring installation is a plus but not mandatory.
