The YMCA is looking for a committed Early Childhood Educator to enhance the lives of children in care programs. In this Level 2 role, you will teach, guide, and ensure a secure workplace while working closely with families to celebrate their unique backgrounds and cultures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement Child Care educational curricula such as Playing to Learn
• Resolve conflicts with positive child guidance strategies
• Keep children secure and accounted for throughout the day
• Build daily communication with families on their children's progress
• Commit to ongoing professional development and training
Requirements:
• Experience in childcare settings is a must
• Level 1, 2, or 3 Child Care Certification required
• Current CPR and First Aid certification needed
• Must complete a Police Information Check for Vulnerable sectors
