Join Northern College as a Maintenance Technician and support a safe and thriving educational environment. Perform varied tasks from grounds maintenance to equipment repairs. This position reports to the Manager, Facilities and Maintenance and focuses on ensuring everything is functional and protected.

Responsibilities include general upkeep such as snow removal, operating various equipment, and maintaining building services. You'll carry out regular inspections and address repairs proactively. Key Responsibilities:

- Execute grounds keeping tasks, including lawn mowing and snow clearing
- Operate various machinery and vehicles effectively
- Repair damaged building finishes and minor plumbing work
- Perform HVAC routine maintenance and check small appliances
- Conduct monthly safety inspections on essential equipment

Requirements:

- Certificate in a relevant field
- At least two years’ experience in facility maintenance
- Class G driver's license required
- WHMIS and First Aid/CPR/AED certification
- Skills in carpentry, plumbing, and welding
