MatchBox Consulting is looking for a Manager, IT Audits, Cybersecurity to lead technology-focused audit and assurance work, including financial audits, cybersecurity engagements, and SOC reporting. This role is hybrid, based in Vancouver and works closely with cross-functional teams, partners, and clients.
Key Responsibilities Lead ITGC testing for financial statement audits, covering access management, change management, IT operations, and automated controls
Plan and execute cybersecurity assessments, maturity reviews, and technology risk evaluations
Manage SOC 1 and SOC 2 examinations, including control walkthroughs and effectiveness testing
Identify control deficiencies and recommend practical remediation
Oversee engagement teams, review workpapers, and support quality and project management across clients
Integrate IT risk considerations into broader audit and advisory strategies
Build strong client relationships through clear, professional communication
Support team coaching, training, and methodology improvements
What You Bring 5-8+ years in IT audit, cybersecurity, SOC reporting, or technology risk advisory
Strong knowledge of ITGC frameworks, cybersecurity standards (NIST CSF, ISO 27001), SOC reporting, and cloud environments
CISA, CISSP, or CPA certification an asset
Strong communication, leadership, and client-management skills
Ability to manage multiple engagements in a fast-paced workplace
