ABOUT TALENT.COM
Talent.com is a job platform that matches job seekers with employers in more than 50 countries. We're seeking talented individuals to help us fulfill our mission of connecting the world to work. Our fast-paced workplace offers many opportunities to grow your career while contributing to our success. If you are a team player, we are the right fit for you: collaboration is the cornerstone of our workflows and is highly valued by our global workforce, regardless of function, department, or time zone. You'll work in a people-focused HR tech company where every voice will be heard. Join us and become part of our multicultural and diverse team!

POSITION OVERVIEW
As Product Manager, Automation at Talent.com, you'll turn manual operational workflows into reliable automated ones across our ad tech platform. You'll partner with teams in Finance, Sales, Customer Success and Engineering to find the highest-leverage opportunities, then deliver automation that measurably reduces manual effort. This is a delivery-focused role on a 12-month fixed-term contract, without people-management responsibilities.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN AND DRIVE

Map current manual workflows across Finance, Sales, Customer Success and Engineering, and identify where automation creates the most operational capacity

Translate operational knowledge, playbooks and data into clear product requirements and delivery plans

Deliver automation across four active areas: invoice validation, bug intake and triage, campaign bid management, and sales account expansion

Partner with engineering to get automation built, tested and rolled out safely, including safeguards and rollback plans

Define success metrics for each initiative and track real adoption, not just launch

Maintain the automation portfolio tracker: intake, sizing, requirements documents and build-versus-buy recommendations

Identify where AI and automation should go next as workflows evolve, and bring those opportunities to the Product team

MUST-HAVES

Experience shipping workflow automation that teams adopted — you can describe the workflow, what changed, and the measurable impact

Ability to build requirements from raw operational input (playbooks, support logs, team knowledge) rather than from an already-defined backlog

Technical fluency to read code or technical documentation and discuss tradeoffs directly with engineering

Experience defining safeguards or rollback plans for automation touching live operations, revenue or billing

Comfort working across teams you don't report into, building agreement through evidence and working relationships

Availability for a full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract, with professional working proficiency in English

NICE TO HAVES

Experience with AI-enabled operational tooling — agents, copilots or automated diagnostics

Experience with rule-based or alerting systems in a finance, billing or risk context

Exposure to ad tech, programmatic or performance marketing — helpful, though how quickly you learn a new domain matters more to us

HOW THIS ROLE WORKS
Workflows here get documented as you map them, and priorities span several teams with different goals.

You'll have support from the Product team and direct access to the people who run these processes today, and we'll look for something shipped and working early in the term rather than a fully planned quarter.

WHAT WE OFFER
Standard Talent.com's benefits include:

- Fully remote work environment

- Generous vacation plan

- Flat and transparent organizational structure

- A multicultural, inspiring and friendly atmosphere with a team of passionate people

The salary range listed in this posting is provided for informational purposes only. Final compensation will be determined based on a number of factors, including the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience, as well as internal equity, market conditions, and business needs.

EQUAL OPPORTUNITY STATEMENT
Frequently cited statistics show that people who identify with historically marginalized groups are likely to apply to jobs only if they meet 100% of the qualifications. We encourage you to help us break that statistic and apply even if you don't meet every single qualification, your potential is what matters most to us!

USE OF AI IN OUR HIRING PROCESS
We are committed to a fair and transparent hiring process. As part of our recruitment practices, we may use artificial intelligence (AI)–based tools. Our tool is designed to assess role-related qualifications in a consistent way and is always used together with human review and decision-making. If you have any questions or concerns about the use of AI in our hiring process, or if you would prefer an alternative assessment method, please let us know and we will be happy to accommodate.

EXISTING VACANCY STATEMENT (Ontario ESA): this posting is for an existing vacancy.
