Lead compassionate care as the Clinical Director of Care at Hospice Niagara's recent hospice residence in Fort Erie. This full time role requires strong leadership in hospice palliative care to ensure high-quality services and community engagement.
As the Director of Care, you will be at the forefront of clinical and operational leadership, managing a compassionate team while fostering a culture of equity and safety. Your role will involve delivering compassionate, person-centered care and taking an active part in shaping a new 10-suite hospice residence slated to open in 2027. Collaborating closely with various leaders, you will ensure high standards align with Hospice Niagara’s mission.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide clinical leadership for the hospice residence
• Ensure evidence-informed palliative care delivery
• Foster cultural safety and equity in operations
• Manage staffing and resource utilization effectively
• Oversee compliance, risk management, and quality activities
Requirements:
• Registered Nurse with CNO certification
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or equivalent
• Minimum five years of leadership experience
• Strong commitment to cultural safety and equity
• Solid understanding of hospice and palliative care
