SUMMARY OF THE POSITION The occupational therapist evaluates the functional abilities of a user, determines and implements a treatment and intervention plan, develops, restores or maintains abilities, remedies incapacities, minimizes handicaps, and adapts the environment in order to promote optimal autonomy. She/he participates in clinical teaching. SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS In addition to clinical requirements, the individual may be called upon to participate in regional projects. REQUIREMENTS Education:
Must hold a master's degree in occupational therapy;
Member of the Ordre des ergothérapeutes du Québec (OEQ). Experience:
Two (2) years of clinical experience as an occupational therapist in various fields and programs;
Experience in community interventions and coordination of service plans is an asset;
Experience working with individuals, families and community organizations;
Experience in an indigenous workplace is an asset. Knowledge and abilities:
Ability to adapt and be adaptable to change in a clinical setting;
Ability to collaborate with team members and valuable communication skills, both oral and written;
