Irving Shipbuilding in Halifax, NS, seeks a Quality Control Coating Inspector to oversee blasting and painting on recent vessels, including in office subcontractors. You will verify coatings meet contract specs, perform surface profile, salt content, thickness and adhesion tests, read drawings, and maintain quality records.

This is a full-time, on-site role requiring naval coatings expertise and relevant AMPP/NACE certification.
