As part of the Engineering & Technical Services team, you'll play a crucial role in project execution for shaft sinking operations. You will handle preliminary and final designs while also verifying drawings by junior designers. Your capacity to conduct research and provide insights during design discussions will drive project effectiveness and risk management initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
• Create timely and exact design drawings and schematics
• Finalize designs for systems related to shaft sinking




• Ensure all designs comply with safety policies and regulations
• Supervise drawings by Engineers-in-Training
• Perform on-site inspections and measurements

Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years working in a mining environment
• Preference for 10 years related to shaft sinking
• Diploma in Mechanical or Civil Engineering Technician ideal
• Expertise in design regulations and compliance
• Ability to travel for project inspections and discussions
