Malomo, allows you to engage with various tasks in the Jamieson Structures Lab. You'll prepare masonry specimens for freezing and conduct essential testing while maintaining safety protocols. Technical training will prepare you for your duties in a collaborative team setting. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and assist in masonry specimen experiments
- Collect and upload experimental data to databases
- Prepare and demold mortar specimens efficiently
- Report progress to supervisors regularly
- Write detailed operational reports on methodologies
Requirements:
- High School Diploma with relevant experience
- Knowledge of MS Office, MATLAB, or Octave preferred
- Strong collaborative skills and technical writing ability
- Previous laboratory or construction site experience is a plus
- Must be able to maneuver heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs)
