Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Labourer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting the assembly, maintenance, and repair of mechanical components and systems. Your hands-on skills and mechanical knowledge will contribute to efficient production processes, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Duties

- Assist with the assembly of mechanical parts using hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment according to schematics and blueprints
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate assembly and installation of components
- Operate forklifts safely to move materials within the warehouse or manufacturing floor
- Use welding techniques to join metal parts as required for repairs or assembly tasks
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery and mechanical systems, utilizing calipers and other measuring tools for precision
- Support machining processes by setting up and maintaining equipment,



ensuring proper calibration and safety protocols are followed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety regulations and warehouse procedures

Skills

- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings with attention to detail
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and machining processes
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing environments and assembly techniques
- Ability to operate forklifts safely with valid certification preferred
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management practices
- Experience using calipers for precise measurements during assembly or repairs
- Excellent teamwork skills combined with the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
