This is a full time, on-site role located in Kitchener, ON. The ideal candidates will have experience in the design and development of mechanical systems and be able to create detailed drawings and 3D models for various projects.

Key responsibilities include developing mechanical designs for systems, sub-assemblies and parts along with drawings and detailed specifications, analyzing design requirements, developing detailed specifications, creating 3D models of components and assemblies, and creating drawings for the fabrication,



assembly, and installation of components and systems. Design-for-manufacturing (DFM) Injection molding design and tooling techniques, manufacturing challenges, typical defects and on-site experience working with suppliers to bring up parts Rapid prototyping processes and techniques Materials selection Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline Minimum 3 years experience in a mechanical engineering role Comfortable with prototyping tools, machining, and hands-on build/test work Organized, resourceful, and proactive in solving design challenges Familiarity with medical device regulations, ISO 13485, or design controls is preferred #
