Algonquin College is seeking a Medical Device Reprocessing Lab Assistant to enhance student learning in the Wellness department. This part-time role supports educational experiences on campus. In this role, you will report to the Chair, Wellness Research & Innovation, contributing to a conducive lab environment for students.
Your responsibilities will include utilizing your communication and conflict resolution skills to facilitate learning while managing lab operations effectively. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist students in Medical Device Reprocessing practices
- Maintain clear communication regarding student expectations
- Support faculty in delivering laboratory instruction
- Organize materials using Microsoft Office tools
- Ensure a professional and respectful lab atmosphere Requirements:
- One-year certification in Medical Device Reprocessing
- Three years of relevant general experience
- Minimum one year as a technician in the field
- Solid interpersonal and conflict management skills
