Shape human resources practices at the County of Grande Prairie as an HR Advisor. This role involves strategic support and implementation of HR initiatives within a dynamic team setting.

You will report to the Director of Human Resources and work closely with various leaders. Your responsibilities will encompass developing HR strategies aligned with the County’s vision, engaging in full-cycle recruitment, and advising on critical HR matters such as diversity initiatives and employee wellness programs. This position ensures a proactive approach to HR management aimed at fostering a positive workplace.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the County's strategic plan
• Provide guidance on compensation, engagement,



and inclusion initiatives
• Oversee recruitment and onboarding processes
• Implement and manage HR programs and policies
• Support ERP and HRIS functionalities

Requirements:
• Degree in HR Management or similar
• 3-4 years of HR advisory experience
• CPHR designation is preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Robust analytical and planning abilities
