The Mental Health
Clinician will engage with children, adolescents, and their families, ensuring equitable access to mental health services as part of Jordan’s Principle. This role demands expertise in developmental trauma treatment and community collaboration. Candidates should be ready to work with psychiatrists and various community partners to effectively address client needs. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide virtual and in-person mental health services
- Conduct initial assessments and ongoing clinical interventions
- Liaise with First Nation community health resources
- Collaborate with psychiatrists and community service providers
- Support Jordan’s Principle initiatives effectively
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in a relevant health discipline
- 4-5 years’ experience with children and youth
- Training in developmental trauma treatment models
- Active regulatory body membership
- Experience in case management preferred
