We are searching for a detail-oriented Micro Lab Technician to prepare and analyze samples using specialized microbiological techniques.
Working in a laboratory setting, you will engage in hands-on testing while maintaining a clean and safe environment. This position operates Monday to Friday from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct sample preparation for microbiological analysis
- Utilize aseptic techniques for accurate testing
- Maintain lab supplies and reagent inventories
- Perform routine quality control and safety checks
- Collaborate effectively with the Food Safety Net Services Team
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED required
- Preferred: Associate degree or two years lab experience
- Solid foundation in food testing laboratory practices
- Ability to travel is a plus
- Meet physical and technical demands of the role
