Millwright Apprentice level 2 or 3

Role Description

High Caliber Millwrights Ltd. is seeking a Level 2 or 3 Millwright Apprentice for a full-time, on-site position in Guelph, ON. and Woodbridge, ON. The role involves carrying out preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and the repair of industrial machinery. The apprentice will work closely with senior team members to ensure safe and efficient operations while adhering to strict time management and precision standards.

Responsibilities include:

- Install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment in industrial settings
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal functioning of machinery
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals
- Weld and fabricate metal components as needed
- Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to complete projects and tasks
- Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track work orders and document repairs
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $28.00-$34.00 per hour

Work Location: In person

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a millwright or in a similar industrial maintenance role
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals




- Basic knowledge of industrial electrical systems is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and other departments
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal

Journeyman/woman Millwright

Role Description

High Caliber Millwrights Ltd. is seeking a full-time, on-site Journeyperson (Journeyman or Journeywoman) Millwright; positions located in Guelph, ON. and Woodbridge, ON.

Responsibilities include:

- Analyze and diagnose mechanical issues in industrial equipment
- Perform repairs and maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment
- Weld, fabricate, and install new parts as needed
- Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance of machinery
- Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical problems
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and inquiries promptly
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working on machinery

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $38.00-$45.00 per hour

Work Location: In person

Qualifications

- Proven experience as an Industrial Mechanic or similar role
- Proficiency in analyzing and troubleshooting mechanical issues
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Welding and Fabrication experience is an asset
- Familiarity with field service work and the ability to work independently
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Solid customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
