Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Millwright to join our dynamic manufacturing team. As a key player in maintaining and repairing industrial machinery, you will ensure the smooth operation of production equipment, uphold safety standards, and contribute to continuous process improvements. Responsibilities
- Install, align, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a wide range of industrial machinery including conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, and HVAC systems.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to diagnose issues accurately.
- Use tools such as welding equipment, low voltage electrical testers, and mechanical hand tools to perform repairs and adjustments.
- Conduct preventative maintenance tasks based on CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) schedules to minimize downtime.
- Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to optimize machinery performance.
- Collaborate with electrical and mechanical teams to execute complex maintenance projects efficiently.
- Maintain detailed maintenance records and logs for compliance and analysis purposes.
- Assist with welding repairs, boiler maintenance, HVAC servicing, and other specialized tasks as needed.
- Support manufacturing operations by ensuring machinery operates reliably and safely at all times.
- Participate in safety audits, inspections, and training sessions to promote a protected working environment.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Millwright or industrial maintenance technician within manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical drawings confidently.
- Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical systems (including low voltage), and CMMS software.
- Skilled in welding techniques, boiler maintenance, HVAC systems, and basic electrical troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of industrial electrician practices combined with a solid understanding of mechanical systems.
- Excellent analysis skills for diagnosing complex machinery issues quickly and accurately.
- Effective communication skills in English for clear documentation and collaboration with team members.
- Customer service mindset with the ability to work independently or as part of a team under tight deadlines.
