We are seeking a certified AMRT part time/casual mold remediation technician to join our team on an as-needed basis. This is a great fit for someone who wants flexible, occasional work using their certification. The pay is negotiable based on your proven experience in the field.
Requirements & Qualifications
- IICRC AMRT (Applied Microbial Remediation Technician) Certification required
- Comfortable working at heights, in tight spaces, and in various environments
- Proficiency of hand and power tools
- Reliable Transportation
- Comfortable working in residential and/or commercial properties
- Strong attention and knowledge of safety protocols and containment procedures
- Availability for occasional call-outs (schedule to be discussed)
Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify mold growth and water intrusion issues in residential and commercial properties
- Prepare work sites by removing debris, cleaning surfaces, and setting up containment areas using hand tools and protective equipment
- Utilize power tools and hand tools to remove affected materials such as drywall, flooring, or insulation safely and efficiently
- Apply mold cleaning solutions and disinfectants following industry standards to eliminate mold spores and prevent future growth
- Assist with structural repairs or construction tasks needed for property restoration, including minor carpentry or drywall installation
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, materials used, and progress reports for each project
- Follow safety protocols rigorously to ensure a safe working workplace for yourself and team members
