Role Description The Freelance Court Reporter role is a contract, on-site position based in Guelph, ON. In this role, you will record and monitor out-of-court queations and ensure records are complete and compliant with relevant standards. Day-to-day tasks include maintaining equipment.
Experienced preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.

Qualifications Solid Court Reporting skills, able to work in a fast
An understanding of legal terminology and protocols
Excellent listening skills, attention to detail, and strong command of written and spoken English.
Comfort working on-site in a legal setting, with professional demeanor and confidentiality.
Prior experience as a court reporter, transcriptionist, or in a legal environment is an assest
Relevant certification or training in court reporting or transcription preferred.
Reliable availability for scheduled proceedings and ability to meet strict deadlines.
