Mutual Fund Operations Analyst

Location: Toronto, ON – 4 days onsite

Duration: 6 months, with potential extension/conversion

Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM

Start Date: October 1, 2026

The Role

We are seeking a Mutual Fund Operations Analyst to join a collaborative financial services operations team. This role is responsible for processing mutual fund transactions, resolving trade and settlement discrepancies, and supporting day-to-day operational activities within a high-risk, compliance-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Process mutual fund trades and settlements accurately and within established timelines.
- Investigate and resolve transaction breaks and discrepancies.
- Process FundSERV transactions and money movements.
- Use Excel, including macros, to support operational processes and reporting.
- Respond to inquiries and provide strong internal customer service.




- Maintain compliance with established operational and regulatory procedures.
- Meet daily productivity, accuracy and service metrics.

Must-Have Skills
- 2–3 years of banking or financial services experience.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables and macros.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Word and Outlook.
- Technically savvy with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Robust analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Adaptable, quick learner and collaborative team player.
- University degree.

Nice to Have
- Mutual fund or trade settlement experience.
- FundSERV experience.
- Canadian Securities Course (CSC).
