As a Security Guard, you will be an integral part of our team, ensuring the safety and security of our esteemed customers, staff, and premises. Dressed in a distinguished uniform, you will represent the epitome of refinement while maintaining a vigilant and professional ambience

Responsibilities

- Monitor and patrol designated areas to deter unauthorized access and ensure safety compliance.
- Control access points by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
- Respond promptly to security incidents or alarms, coordinating with emergency responders when necessary.
- Perform regular inspections of the premises to detect signs of theft, vandalism, or other suspicious activity.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks for record-keeping purposes.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying vulnerabilities and implementing preventative measures.Requirements
- Prior experience in law enforcement, security services, or related fields is highly desirable.




- Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and CCTV operation.
- Ability to remain alert and attentive during long shifts, with excellent observational skills.
- Positive communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and effectively.
- Physical fitness to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
- Familiarity with security protocols and emergency response procedures.
- Certification or training in security operations or law enforcement is a plus but not mandatory.

MINIMUM HIRING STANDARDS

- Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English FLUENTLY.
- Must have an Alberta Basic Security Guard License.
- Must have a reliable means of communication (Smartphone with data).
- Must have a reliable means of transportation.
