- Assess and manage individualized care plans for residents
- Deliver timely medical care and referrals as needed
- Provide leadership and support to enhance staff knowledge
- Implement Quality Improvement Plans in collaboration with the team
- Support committees addressing clinical and professional matters
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse in the Extended Class with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Background in gerontology is preferable
- Specialty certification in gerontological nursing is an asset
- Experience in palliative care is beneficial
