Elevate patient care as a General Duty Nurse at Shared Health's Adult Ambulatory Care Clinic in Winnipeg. This in-person position focuses on nursing practice, independent treatment administration, and team leadership. As a Registered Nurse (N2), your role involves providing essential nursing services and administering medical treatments under the Manager of Health Services.
With a focus on patient continuity, your experience in medicine/surgery and ambulatory care will ensure high-quality outcomes. You will play a key role in leading teams and enhancing care coordination. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver nursing care for patients with complex health conditions
- Administer prescribed treatments accurately and efficiently
- Coordinate patient care and discharge processes
- Uphold the region's healthcare vision and values
- Contribute as a leader within the medical team
Requirements:
- At least 2 years’ recent experience in medicine/surgery
- Graduate from an accredited Registered Nursing program
- Must maintain registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba
- Preferred familiarity with Electronic Medical Record systems
- Solid communication abilities to interact effectively
