Algonquin College is seeking a Medical Device Reprocessing Lab Assistant to enhance student learning in the Wellness department. This part-time role supports educational experiences on campus.

In this role, you will report to the Chair, Wellness Research & Innovation, contributing to a conducive lab setting for students. Your responsibilities will include utilizing your communication and conflict resolution skills to facilitate learning while managing lab operations effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist students in Medical Device Reprocessing practices
• Maintain clear communication regarding student expectations
• Support faculty in delivering laboratory instruction
• Organize materials using Microsoft Office tools
• Ensure a professional and respectful lab atmosphere

Requirements:
• One-year certification in Medical Device Reprocessing
• Three years of relevant general experience
• Minimum one year as a technician in the field
• Strong interpersonal and conflict management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite functions
