Your expertise will enhance the delivery of geospatial solutions and user-centered dashboards. As the GIS and Data Visualization Specialist, you will report to the Supervisor of Spatial Solutions and lead projects aimed at advancing the Town’s Enterprise Data Management.
Your role includes developing dashboards, performing spatial analysis, and ensuring the integrity of data products. Engage with users to gather requirements and apply QA processes to deliver high-quality solutions. Key Responsibilities:
- Create and deliver interactive dashboards with Power BI
- Conduct complex spatial analyses to guide decision-making
- Lead requirement gathering and system testing
- Uphold quality standards for GIS and visualization outputs
- Deliver training on best practices for GIS tools
Requirements:
- University degree in GIS or similar field
- At least three years of relevant experience
- Advanced proficiency in ESRI ArcGIS
- Skilled in Power BI and DAX usage
- Experienced in SQL and Python scripting
