Elevate patient care as a General Duty Nurse at Shared Health's Adult Ambulatory Care Clinic in Winnipeg. This in-person position focuses on nursing practice, independent treatment administration, and team leadership.
As a Registered Nurse (N2), your role involves providing essential nursing services and administering medical treatments under the Manager of Health Services. With a focus on patient continuity, your experience in medicine/surgery and ambulatory care will ensure high-quality outcomes. You will play a key role in leading teams and enhancing care coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver nursing care for patients with complex health conditions • Administer prescribed treatments accurately and efficiently • Coordinate patient care and discharge processes • Uphold the region's healthcare vision and values • Contribute as a leader within the medical team
Requirements: • At least 2 years’ recent experience in medicine/surgery • Graduate from an accredited Registered Nursing program • Must maintain registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba • Preferred familiarity with Electronic Medical Record systems • Robust communication abilities to interact effectively
