This role reports to the Parks Supervisor and focuses on maintaining outdoor amenities, often in challenging weather. Expect to operate tools and equipment, handle chemicals responsibly, and ensure safety while working in teams or independently. The ability to work weekends and holidays is essential during this busy season. Key Responsibilities:
- Keep parks and outdoor areas well-maintained
- Operate hand and power tools effectively
- Manage chemical usage for park preservation
- Participate in winter on-call rotations as needed
- Prioritize safety and reliable work practices
Requirements:
- Grade 12 education or equivalent
- Clean Alberta Driver’s License required
- Experience in parks or landscaping is an asset
- Flexibility and robust commitment to the role
- Strong teamwork and customer service skills
