NL Health Services is seeking a full time Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist in St. John’s to enhance mental health services for youth. This role requires collaboration with an established health team and pediatricians.

In this position, you will engage in psychiatric assessments, provide inpatient and outpatient services, and consult for specialized care at facilities like Tuckamore. Ideal candidates will have a focus on collaborative care and may contribute to program development and clinical teaching.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct psychiatric assessments for patients aged 0-18
• Offer both inpatient and outpatient mental health services
• Collaborate within multidisciplinary Mental Health teams




• Participate in the on-call system for Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
• Promote safety and person-centered care

Requirements:
• Valid Medical Degree (MD) and FRCPC in Psychiatry
• Certification in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry required
• Must meet credentials for the College of Physicians and Surgeons of NL
• Standard background checks are necessary
