Working under the direction of RN’s and LPN’s, Care Aide’s have key responsibilities in the individual care plan for each patient, ensuring their physical, emotional and social needs are supported, while promoting maximum independence. Assisting with personal care and activities of daily living Performing nursing procedures such as taking temperature,



pulse and respiration Housekeeping activities relating to maintaining a safe and healthy environment Accompanying clients on outings and during social activities Performing clerical duties and delegated tasks This is a Casual opportunity Casual Employees are not guaranteed hours of work and can range from 0-37.5 hours per week on an as-needed basis.

Shifts of work will be rotating days, evenings and nights from with the following shift times 07:00 to 15:00, 15:00 to 23:00, 23:00 to 07:00. About these Locations Pleasant Valley Manor, located in the beautiful community of Armstrong, embodies a resident-centered philosophy designed to support residents’ choices, help people function at their highest level, and provide the best quality of life possible. This facility is an82-bed complex care facility (81 permanent, 1 respite) equipped with services and 24-hour staff devoted to creating a comfortable living environment.

Parkview

Place, located in Enderby, embodies a person-centered philosophy designed to support people’s choices, help people function at their highest level, and provide the best quality of life possible. Housed on the 2nd floor of the Community Health Centre, this is a 31-bed complex care facility with private rooms in two wings. Graduation from a recognized Nursing Assistant / Health Care Aide Program or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience Registration with the BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker registry (please include your active number) #
