Provide essential fitness leadership as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist Instructor at REDS Recreation in Fredericton. Focus on programs for older adults and chronic conditions in an engaging environment. This instructor role at REDS Recreation requires strong skills in fitness programming and assessment.
You will work part time, guiding older adults through tailored exercise programs while mentoring fellow fitness instructors. Your work will involve one-on-one consultations and drop-in fitness classes, along with comprehensive fitness evaluations. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead fitness programming for older adults and special populations
- Create and assess individualized exercise plans
- Train and evaluate other fitness instructors
- Conduct personal training sessions for various fitness levels
- Facilitate group fitness classes and assessments
Requirements:
- Certification as a CSEP-CEP essential
- Degree in Kinesiology or health field required
- First Aid, CPR, AED certification mandatory
- Experience with special populations and older adults
- Enhanced Police Information Check (E-PIC)
