About Burdy:

Burdy originally started as a solar powered food truck in East Vancouver back in 2021 that had become largely known for its chicken & eggplant parm sandwiches and their beer battered Italian fries. After 4 years in the truck, Burdy finally outgrew the space which led to the team opening their first brick and mortar location on Granville Island!

What we're looking for:

- Experience in a kitchen preferred, but not necessary.
- A team player and excellent communicator.
- A positive attitude.
- Willingness to learn.
- Receptive to direction and feedback from the team.
- Reliable and motivated.
- Comfortable in a quick-paced environment and performs well under pressure.
- Able to stay productive during quieter periods of the day.
- Interested in growing with us.

What we offer:

- $19-$22/ hour to start, depending on experience.

shifts on Tuesday's and Saturday's - 8 hour shifts

Location: Inside the Chain & Forge building on Granville Island (1441 Anderson Street).

Please note: Paid parking only - monthly parking passes are available if needed, but this job is a great opportunity for either cyclists, those who can take the bus, ferry or just live nearby! Locked bike storage is available for all employees on Granville Island.

Anticipated start date: End of September.

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
