Duties
- Assist physiotherapists with patient setup, treatment preparation, and equipment management to ensure smooth therapy sessions
- Support patient care activities by guiding patients through exercises and providing encouragement during therapy sessions
- Maintain accurate and organized patient records.
- Manage appointment scheduling, patient check-ins, and follow-up communications to enhance clinic efficiency
- Handle administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, managing correspondence, and maintaining clinic supplies
- Ensure the cleanliness and sterilization of therapy equipment in compliance with health standards
- Collaborate with team members to deliver a welcoming and supportive environment for patients
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is highly preferred
- Demonstrated acute care experience or familiarity with patient treatment environments
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy and healthcare procedures
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact empathetically with patients of diverse backgrounds
- Ability to multitask effectively in a busy clinical environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of office management software and basic administrative procedures
