As a Unit Aide, you will play a critical role in supporting patients' behavioral, emotional, and physical needs at Providence Care Hospital. This part-time role focuses on daily living assistance while helping ensure safety and a well-maintained environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Experience in healthcare, particularly with geriatric or rehabilitation populations, is preferred. Key Responsibilities:

- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Use proper body mechanics and transfer techniques




- Collaborate with the healthcare team on care plans
- Follow behavioral care plans for patient interactions
- Document patient activities per organizational policies

Requirements:

- Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
- Completed Personal Support Worker Diploma/Certificate
- One year of patient care experience preferred
- Experience with geriatric and rehabilitation populations
- UFIRST / PIECES / GPA Training preferred
