The Pictou County Regional Palliative Care Service is looking for an experienced certified Palliative Care Physician to strengthen its team. You will be integral in delivering care across diverse settings, collaborating closely with family physicians, and mentoring medical students and residents. This role also offers the chance to evolve interprofessional initiatives within palliative care.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate within an integrated Palliative Care Service
• Lead the development of interprofessional care initiatives




• Deliver patient care in hospitals, homes, and hospice
• Provide ongoing support to patients post-consultation
• Mentor Dalhousie University medical students and residents

Requirements:
• Certified in Palliative Care or equivalent required
• Full-time palliative medicine experience preferred
• Specialty licensure eligibility in Nova Scotia
• Ability to navigate various care settings
• Therapeutic paracentesis experience is a plus
