WSP’s Transmission & Distribution Electrical team seeks a skilled engineer preferably based in Edmonton for handling design projects involving overhead high voltage lines. You will take charge of technical project management, ensuring design quality while leading client interactions and project reporting to ensure success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct the design and technical execution of transmission projects
• Develop and validate engineering specifications and drawings
• Review quality of work from internal and external teams
• Prioritize project milestones within set budgets
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders for project updates
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering discipline
• 5-10 years in high voltage transmission design
• Expertise in PLS software including PLS-CADD
• Valid Qualified Engineering license (P.Eng.)
• Experience in managing complex engineering projects
